During the session, Baldewijn Westerbeek, Head of IT & Data at Energie voor Elkaar, shared his experiences. Within Energie voor Elkaar (a platform of organizations and companies focused on a feasible and affordable acceleration of the energy transition) he is responsible for all IT & Data related projects to ensure that Energie voor Elkaar can stay ahead. Drawing both from his experience at Energie voor Elkaar, and his previous experience as Manager Digital & IT at TotalEnergies, he will take you through what he believes are the important components of a good roadmap and how to set the right priorities to achieve results.
This session was a working session where we took you through how to properly populate a roadmap. We also got hands-on with the 5 key components of a good roadmap; vision, objective, problem, time and communication so that you are better able as an organization to properly shape the key components of your roadmap.
During this session, we dove into how to transform data from a collection of numbers and facts to a strategic tool that helps you make better decisions, work more efficiently and discover new opportunities. Finally, the session delved into how you can give hands and feet to your roadmap so that everything on the roadmap is properly adopted.
In addition, we shared real-life examples and successes of organizations that have succeeded in turning their data into measurable business results and have created a data-driven culture within the organization
During this session delved into the different levels of data maturity that exist in 3 phases; where are you now, where do you want to go and how do you reach the next data maturity level. Finally, we shared real-life examples and best practices to give you a clear picture of what data maturity looks like in practice.
Our goal was that by the end of this session you had a good understanding of what data maturity means, why it is critical for your organization, and how to create an action plan to improve data maturity within your organization.
